Creative partnerships in the Tempe community
Crafty Tomato occasionally partners with artists, organizations, and community groups to host creative events and workshops.
These collaborations can include special workshops, community art programs, themed craft events, or other creative experiences.
Because we receive many requests, we ask potential collaborators to submit a short proposal so we can determine if the idea is a good fit.

How collaboration events work
Most collaboration events are structured as ticketed workshops or special programming hosted at Crafty Tomato.
Depending on the event, we may provide the studio space, materials, promotion, and booking system.
In some cases, collaborators may lead the creative portion of the event while we help organize and host the experience.
We aim to create events that are engaging for the community and sustainable for everyone involved.
Collaboration structure
To keep collaborations sustainable, most events follow one of the structures below:
Hosted Workshop
A ticketed workshop where the collaborator leads the activity and Crafty Tomato provides the space and booking platform.
Revenue Share Event
Ticket revenue may be shared depending on the event format and level of involvement.
Private Workshop Rental
Organizations may book the studio space for a private creative event.
Each collaboration is reviewed individually based on the proposal, audience, and logistics.
What makes a good collaboration
We are most interested in collaborations that:
• offer a clear creative activity
• bring a new audience to the studio
• create an engaging community experience
• are well organized and easy to execute
Because of our small team and busy schedule, we may not be able to accommodate every request.
