The Beginning

Crafty Tomato is the brainchild of Charlotte Yiu, an artist who found a welcoming and inspiring community in Arizona. Charlotte discovered that the most magical part of art isn’t the finished product — it’s the process of making. The joy of getting your hands messy, the calm of focusing on a single project, and the spark of childlike curiosity coming back to life.

Instead of keeping her art for galleries or sales, Charlotte wanted to share that joy of making with everyone. That’s why she created Crafty Tomato.

Why We Exist

Too often people say: “I’m not creative.” Or they avoid art because it feels expensive, overwhelming, or messy. Supplies pile up, the clean-up feels daunting, and inspiration fizzles. Crafty Tomato was built to change that. Crafty Tomato is a space where you can just show up, sit down, and rediscover how fun and freeing it is to make something with your hands.

What We Do

At Crafty Tomato DIY Craft Studio, you don’t need to prepare, and you don’t need experience. We provide all the supplies, projects, and inspiration. You only do the fun part. Whether it’s painting on canvas, decorating a sculpture, building with clay, or joining one of our guided workshops, Crafty Tomato is a creative playground for kids, adults, families, and friends.
